Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm is confident his team can overcome League Two outfit Bradford City in the League Cup final.
Since arriving in the off-season of 2011 for a fee of around 1.5 million pounds, the Netherlands shot-stopper has made 53 appearances and kept 17 clean sheets.
In an interview with Dutch football magazine Voetbal International, Vorm admitted his surprise at the Swansea s rise to prominence and insists the greater quality in their squad should secure an easy win over Bradford.
He said: We have been playing for more than one-and-a-half years in the Premier League. When I came from Utrecht, I did not expect Swansea to already be this good.
For most of the Swansea City players, it s the first possibility to win a prize. It s a wonderful experience.
That s the special thing about English football – strange things can happen. But it s simple really – Swansea possesses better players in every position.
Bradford City s players have learned to fight in League Two, but that s no excuse for us – we must win the final. Swansea has also come a long way.
Playing at Wembley will make a huge impression on Bradford s players.
They will not be used to playing in front of such a large crowd, especially since they have played a lot of home games in the cup.
